First session on the February calendar is “crochet granny squares”. Why is it called a granny square you say? I really don’t think anyone knows for sure. One thing we can all agree on is it’s a mainstay in the crochet world and it’s been around for a long time. It’s an easy repeat and perfect for a beginner project or a project to use up your scrap yarn. You can create multiple squares and sew together to form an afghan or continue working in the round to create one large granny square afghan. Ready to get started? Head on over to our “shop” page and register. Class date is February 2, 2019 from 1-3pm. Supplies are included in the $25 session fee. Knowledge of chain and double crochet stitches is a requirement. Come get your craft on!
